Today's Indulgence!

Today's indulgence was a trip to the Botanic Gardens in Melbourne - with friends Tricia and Bernie; we took our cameras along - the aim was to get a variety of shots including macro shots and texture.

I have a few favourites (out of the 150 I took). This shot reminds me of when we were kids and my uncle had a garden with Opium Poppies and we used to pull them apart and shake the seeds out of the "shaker" in the middle.

The next shot is amazing - you've heard of "happy as a pig in mud", well this is "happy as a bee in pollen" - absolutely smothered in the lovely polleny stuff!
