In my Drought Affected Garden...

If you take a gaze at my garden at the moment, it looks terribly uncared for, lost, forgotton, and in great need of a good dose of water.

All the lushness has gone. Leaves everywhere have dried and fallen. Plants have died back completely on the outside - maybe on the inside too.

That week in January where every day was over 40 degrees really knocked them around...

But we are lucky, we are allowed to hand water with the hose for two hours twice a week, but it is just not enough... try telling a thirsty plant on Wednesday that it has to wait til Saturday morning for a drink!

Hopefully some plants can hang on. So I went looking around the garden and found some happy flowers...

Here's one - an agapanthus flower:

And a sweet little daisy... and a cactus flower. Maybe the garden will spring back to life soon.

Jenny have faith, nature will come back when your rain arrives. Especially the grass, we thought ours would never recover during our drought, but now it is lush and green once more. I am so glad you went looking for the beauty.
