A Colour Challenge and Rustic Rooster
I've joined in on a challenge! Doesn't that sounds like fun? The colours above are what we have to use.
Melissa at Swap Sisters set the challenge - you can see her entry here.
I started a couple of days ago and then completely lost the plot! But today is Wednesday and I get a whole day to 'play' with my stamps. Once I got started, it only took a few minutes.
Here is my first card using the above colours:
and here's another:
It was lots of fun 'playing' with the rooster - I've added Crystal Effects to his comb and legs to make them brighter. The ripples in the card are made with the Crimper - another great 'must have' tool from Stampin' Up!

Thank you for your rooster card ... I think this is a great stamp set but vary rarely do I see it .... You have done a fabulous job with both of your creations, but of course I think the rooster is is just great, especially with the flourish around the flower ... thank you so much for sharing!!!
Lucky you a whole day to stamp! Love both cards, they truly are beautiful! TFS!

My 15year old son was quite impressed with the rooster one and Im intriqued how did you get the crinkle lines just in that band across the card?????
P.S that is the best card I have seen done with the rooster set and I really like what youve done on the other card too
