BIRTHDAY GIRLS!

Sunday was a family celebration... very cute cousins, Roslyn and Rebecca share very close birthdays in December so we all gathered to celebrate - here are the girls, complete with birthday smiles! We all enjoyed a fabulous feast and then the afternoon was spent with the youngest cousin, Madeline, trimming the fresh Xmas pine tree... now when I first suggested the cousins trim the tree, Roslyn looked at me horrified - oh mum, we might do it wrong and put a hole in it - yep! she thought they would be trimming the tree with scissors... so I explained 'trim' meant 'decorate'! There were great discussions all afternoon about the different meanings for ''trim''.
