Back in Time... Medieval Montsalvat

I couldn't wait to get back to Montsalvat so back I went yesterday morning, very early; it was foggy and there was a definite chill in the air. I wandered round looking at different things, walking in the paddocks. I kept bumping into peacocks - gorgeous creatures - and then came upon this view....

Isn't it like a picture postcard...

years ago when I was a teenager I did a photography workshop and we were taught to always put "weeds" in the foreground of the photo... so these lovely autumn leaves are my "weeds".

I felt transported to a little French village in the olden days as I looked at this building when suddenly I heard chatter; it got louder and then I looked up the hill and saw 50 school children coming down towards this building, all dressed in magnificent medieval attire - there were lords and ladies, kings and priests, witches and wenches... how cool was that!!!

Jenny, fantastic photography. You should enter this photo into a competition, it is magnificent. You have captured the beauty of the foggy morning, autumn leaves and the magic of a special place. Well done!
