New Pets on the Fruit Trees
We have new pets - they are caterpillars! Recently, I saw butterflies landing on the lime tree and lemon tree, hanging around, fluttering etc. Then when investigating I found tiny white eggs! These have hatched and we now have babies - very teensy tiny caterpillars when first hatched, then they grow - I check them every day, waiting for a bird to eat them - they don't eat much, just a little bit of leaf surface. There are two different types - here is a photo of the biggest one.
