Our family always has a little get together whenever there's a birthday - but on this occasion there were special presents for all the grandchildren. We had no idea what was going on as my mum, Dorothy, handed out parcels to her granddaughters. They all opened them up at the same time and found special crocheted rugs inside - with a little inscription on each on a piece of calico carefully sewed to the rug. How gorgeous the rugs are, soft, beautifully made, and how clever my mum is!! Go mum!
